Mid-Session: Sensex, Nifty trade flat on profit booking; oil&gas, realty stocks down 1%

At 12:10 PM, the Bombay Stock Exchange bellwether Sensex was at 28,780.03, up by 6.90 points or by 0.02 per cent, and the NSE Nifty was at 8870, up by 2.55 points or by 0.03 per cent.
On the sectoral front, oil&gas and realty stocks were leading the gain, rising as much as 1.17 per cent and 1 per cent respectively.

The Indian stocks were trading flat with a slightly positive bias in late morning deal on Friday as gain in oil & gas and realty stocks were offset by profit booking across financial and FMCG space. Further profit booking in front line blue chip stocks such as Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI, GAIL, Hero MotoCorp, Lupin and Tata Steel also dented market sentiments.At 12:10 PM, the Bombay Stock Exchange bellwether Sensex was at 28,780.03, up by 6.90 points or by 0.02 per cent, and the NSE Nifty was at 8870, up by 2.55 points or by 0.03 per cent.
