* 3I INFOTECH: Has allotted 47.08 mln shares to Canara Bank on a preferential basis and 78.18 mln
shares to Export-Import Bank of India.

* ANDHRA BANK: Will cut Base Rate by 15 basis points to 9.55%, from Sunday.

* APL APOLLO TUBES: Will enter into a joint venture with One to One Holdings, Singapore, for
manufacturing in-line galvanised tubes.

* APOLLO HOSPITALS ENTERPRISE: Has launched a fee-based prevention and reversal "Healthy Heart" programme.

* ASHIANA HOUSING: Has entered into a memorandum of understanding with a Pune-based developer for a "group housing project" to be developed on 19 acre in Pune.

* ASHOK LEYLAND: Launched Dost+, a variant of small commercial vehicle Dost, at a starting of

* GAIL (INDIA): Has spoken against the preference given to domestic steel when it comes to
government procurement.

* GE POWER INDIA: Has got a contract worth nearly 3.3 bln rupees from Doosan Power Systems India for supply of four units of 660-MW electrostatic precipitator for power projects in Uttar Pradesh.

* GLOBAL OFFSHORE SERVICES: Has got a contract for its vessel, M.V. Poorna, for 2.5 years with effect from Nov 15.

* GVK POWER & INFRASTRUCTURE: Has decided to divest the 228 MW Unit II and possibly sell other gas plants in the company portfolio.

* IDBI BANK: Sold further 48.04 mln shares, or 9.03% stake, in Small Industries Development Bank of India in the past two days.

* IDFC BANK: Shriram Capital Chairman Ajay Piramal insisted that Shriram Capital entities along with IDFC and the bank were exploring ways for merger.

 * INTERGLOBE AVIATION: IndiGo's new Airbus 320 neo planes are said to be taking longer to fire up and get ready for take-off, adding to congestion at Delhi airport.

* JINDAL STEEL & POWER: Will consider raising funds through the issue of shares and warrants on a preferential basis Oct 3.

* LAKSHMI VILAS BANK: The board has approved fund raising up to 8 bln rupees through the rights issue of shares.

* NLC INDIA: Is offering to reduce tariffs from two of its power plants after its main buyer asked the
company to lower prices or shelve the projects.

* OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORP: Expects to complete acquisition of the government's 51.1% stake in HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORP this calendar year, the company's Chairman and Managing Director Dinesh Kumar Sarraf said. The government is planning to allow private firms to take majority stake in the company's producing oil and gas fields such as Mumbai High.

* ORCHID PHARMA: Is not in a position to report its financials for Apr-Jun, as the powers of the board have been suspended.

* POWER GRID CORP: Has commissioned 800-kV Champa-Kurukshetra high voltage direct current terminals, along with associated bays under "western region-northern region high voltage direct current" interconnector for independent power producer projects in Chhattisgarh.

* POWER FINANCE CORP: Has committed financial assistance of 40.09 bln rupees to Telangana for setting up a 4,000-MW thermal power plant in Nalgonda district.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm has entered into a deal with Roy Kapur Films to provide original digital video content. Reliance Jio Infocomm will provide partial refund to buyers of JioPhone who wish to return the phone after one year, parent Reliance Industries said in a release. Outbid rivals to buy the entire volume of coal-bed methane produced from its own blocks in central India until at least March 2021.

* RELIANCE POWER: Shareholders have approved a resolution to increase its borrowing limit to up to five times its paid up capital and free reserves.

 * RELIGARE ENTERPRISES: Told the Delhi High Court that it was unlikely to complete the sale of arm Religare Health Insurance Co to True North this year as it was awaiting necessary approvals from Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.

* SPICEJET: Over 180 people on a Delhi-bound flight were among those who had a narrow escape at
Kabul airport on Wednesday when the airport came under the rocket attack.

* STATE BANK OF INDIA: The bank's primary dealership arm, SBI DFHI, has approved the buyback of shares worth 994.23 mln rupees. Is seeking to select insolvency resolution professionals for the second list of firms identified by the Reserve Bank of India for bankruptcy proceedings.

* STERLITE TECHNOLOGIES: Has launched a fifth-generation network solution called FlashFWD at India Mobile Congress 2017.

* SYNDICATE BANK: Will reduce the interest rate on savings account deposits of up to 2.5 mln rupees by 50 basis points to 3.50%, with effect from Oct 10, the lender informed the exchanges.

* UNITED BANK OF INDIA: Has raised 1.5 bln rupees through the issue of Basel-III compliant tier-II bonds.

* KAJARIA CERAMICS: Westbridge Crossover Fund LLC has sold 1.9 mln shares or 1.2% stake in the company on both National Stock Exchange and BSE in bulk deals.
