Snapping two-day gaining streak, Indian equities may open lower on Friday, tracking negative trend in Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and weak cues from the global markets. Overseas, Asian stocks were trading lower, mirroring weakness in Wall Street in overnight trade, amid looming fears that the European Central Bank may start tapering its massive asset-purchasing program next week. The ECB will debate next week whether to end bond purchases later this year, the bank’s chief economist said on Wednesday, Reuters reported. Back home, bearish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for June delivery, which were trading at 10,713.00, down by 59 points.
