* AVIATION: The civil aviation ministry will reveal results for the third round of regional connectivity scheme auction on Friday. Etihad Airways wants to open the JetPrivilege loyalty programme to other carriers as it negotiates  fund infusion into the cash-strapped Mumbai-based airline.

* CORPORATE: The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has called for a round-table meeting on Feb 4 to discuss concerns on taxation of angel funds raised by startups and others.

* ECONOMY: The Reserve Bank of India may be undercapitalised and its 'core capital' levels are "too low", a research paper has claimed. The government is considering extending the deadline of Feb 1 by when recently announced changes in the foreign direct investment policy for e-commerce are to take effect. Interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal is likely to meet the heads of select public sector banks on Monday to discuss a host of issues, including asset quality and liquidity, a finance ministry official said.

* INFRASTRUCTURE: The National Highways Authority of India is tightening norms for developers to bid for road projects under the engineering, procurement, and construction mode in an effort to disqualify weak, non-performing and incapable developers from winning projects.

* TELECOMMUNICATION: Regulator Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has served a show-cause notice on Tata Sky for allegedly not following its new tariff framework for TV channels and also for purportedly misleading subscribers.
