Pre Session: Sensex, Nifty to open positive; Maruti Suzuki shares in focus

The Indian benchmark indices are expected to open on a positive note on Monday. Asian share markets sank to multi-month lows on mounting trade tensions across the globe. US stocks fell on Friday after President Donald Trump's surprise threat of tariffs on Mexico fueled fears that a trade war on multiple fronts could lead to a recession. Back home, bullish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for June delivery, which were trading at 11,968.00, up by 43.00 points.
