Indian equities are likely to open lower on Monday, tracking bearish cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and muted trend across the Asian markets. Overseas, Asian stocks were trading higher with moderate gains ahead of key economic data. Globally, most of stock markets across the globe remained closed for the Good Friday Easter holiday on Friday. Back home, bearish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for April delivery, which was trading at 10,221.00, down 21.50 points.
