Pre Session: Positive opening seen for Sensex, Nifty; ICICI Bank in focus

Indian equities may open higher on Monday, tracking positive trend in Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and strong cues from the global markets. Overseas, Asian stocks were trading higher as investor cheered robust US jobs data which shrugged off trade worries. On Friday, Wall Street closed higher, helped by gains in technology stocks coupled by strong macro data. Back home, bullish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for May delivery, which were trading at 10,722.50, up by 43.00 points.
