* AMBUJA CEMENTS: LafargeHolcim, which holds 63.61% stake in the company, said sales in India were hit during Oct-Dec due to the demonetisation.

* AXIS BANK: The bank is not at fault in the recent controversy that resulted in the Unique Identification Authority of India suspending it from doing Aadhaar-based transactions, two senior executives at the lender said.

* BEML: In its aim to utilise 100% renewable energy for captive consumption, the company has commissioned a 200 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar project at its complex in Mysuru.

* CORPORATION BANK: Has reduced its overnight, one-month, and three-month marginal cost of funds-based lending rates by 5 basis points, effective Wednesday.

* DCB BANK: The board of the bank will meet on Tuesday to consider raising funds through the issuance of securities, including shares, to qualified institutional buyers.

* GANESHA ECOSPHERE: SBI Mutual Fund has bought 696,618 shares or 3.63% stake in the company at 205 rupees apiece, in a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

* HINDALCO INDUSTRIES: The company's board announced the opening of its qualified institutional placement of shares from Thursday.

* ICICI BANK: Has hit the overseas debt market with a $500-mln dollar-denominated bond issue and is expected to close the five-and-half-year issue tonight.

* INDIAN HOTELS CO: The New Delhi Municipal Council will submit to the Supreme Court its decision to auction Indian Hotels Co's Taj Mansingh hotel.

* KAJARIA CERAMICS: HSBC Bank Mauritius has, on behalf of Jwalamukhi Investment Holdings, sold 994,905 shares or 0.63% stake in the company, at 565.03 rupees apiece, in a bulk deal on the BSE.

* MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA: The company is in advanced talks with American automaker Ford to use the latter's Chennai plant for manufacturing its passenger vehicles.

* MANPASAND BEVERAGES: Has tied up with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corp to expand its presence to all stations next year, and to provide its products through the corporation's e-catering service.

* NATIONAL ALUMINIUM CO: Said it produced 6.6 mln tn of bauxite in Apr-Feb, a growth of 16.8% from a year ago. This is the highest production volume since the company's inception.

* PTL ENTERPRISES: Said the National Company Law Tribunal has sanctioned the demerger of the medicare and healthcare undertakings of the company into Artemis Global Life Sciences.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: Eight promoter group companies of RIL will acquire around 1.19 bln shares, or 36.70% stake, from 15 other promoter group companies in an inter se transfer for 1.3 trln rupees.

* TATA MOTORS: Plans to raise up to 5 bln rupees through the issuance of non-convertible debentures maturing in five years, at a coupon of 7.71%. Workers of the company's Sanand plant, who refused to take the company  transport back home on Wednesday as a mark of protest, have approached the state labour department to help them negotiate their demands with the management.

* TRANSPORT CORP OF INDIA: Has acquired a ship of 13,760 dwt for $5.5 mln. The ship, bought from internal accruals and bank loan, will be deployed on the west coast.
