Pre Session: Positive opening on cards for Sensex, Nifty; NBFC’s in focus

Indian equities may open start on positive note, tracking bullish trends in SGX Nifty Index Futures, but weak cues from global peers may restrict gains. Overseas, the Asian stocks were trading mixed, following Wall Street ended lower in overnight amid conflicting signals on the outlook for trade talks. US stocks reversed direction to close lower Thursday as investors' attention shifted to a weekend meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, at which the leaders are expected to discuss the countries' bruising trade war. Back home, bullish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for November delivery, which were trading at 10,939.50, up by 23.50 points
