Pre Session: Sensex, Nifty to open flat; NIIT Tech shares in focus

The domestic benchmark indices are likely to open on flat note on Monday taking cues from Asian peers. Asian shares edged higher on Monday as investors cheered a much-needed rebound in US payrolls, while looking forward to more policy stimulus in China. President Donald Trump said on Friday the US Federal Reserve should lower interest rates and take other unconventional measures to ease pressure on an economy that he said they slowed down. Back home, bearish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for April delivery, which were trading at 11,767.50, down by 5.50 points.
