Pre-Session: Muted start likely for domestic equities on Wednesday

Domestic bourses are expected to start the day on muted note on Wednesday. Market participants today will keenly await the signing of the Phase 1 trade deal between the US and China. US President Donald Trump is slated to sign the Phase 1 trade agreement with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He at the White House later in the day.
Apart from this, corporate earnings, and stock-specific action are likely to influence investor sentiment during the day. Investors will first react to the Q3 numbers of Wipro and Mindtree that were released after the market hours yesterday.A total of 7 companies including Larsen & Toubro Infotech, and Den Networks are slated to announce their Q3 results today.
On Tuesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 41952.63 up by 92.94 points or by 0.22 % and then NSE Nifty was at 12362.3 up by 32.75 points.
