* ADANI GREEN ENERGY: Promoter pledged 1.81% stake in the company on Mar 11 and Monday.

* APOLLO TYRES: HDFC Mutual Fund bought 2% stake in the company through the open market on Monday.

* BAJAJ FINANCE: Shareholders have approved increasing the company's borrowing limit to 1.6 trln rupees.
-Blackrock Global Funds India Fund bought 29,000 shares or 0.005% stake in the company at 3,616
rupees apiece through a block deal on BSE.

* COFFEE DAY ENTERPRISES: Not aware of probe finding 20 bln rupees missing.

* ESCORTS: The board will meet on Friday to consider preferential allotment of shares and a corresponding reduction of an equivalent number of shares held by Escorts Benefit and Welfare Trust.

* INFOSYS: Blackrock Global Funds India Fund bought 190,000 shares or 0.004% stake in the company at 581 rupees apiece through a block deal on the BSE.

* JINDAL STEEL & POWER: Is exploring the possibility of setting up a steep plant with capacity of 2-2.5 mln tn per annum at Patratu in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand.

* JSW STEEL: Lenders to Bhushan Power and Steel will have to wait beyond the March quarter to receive payment of 193.50 bln rupees from the approved bidder as the company has missed the payment deadline of Mar 16 and is unlikely to make the payment this month.

* MPHASIS: Promoter Marble II PTE bought 3 mln shares or 1.6% stake in the company at 699.68 rupees apiece through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

* MUTHOOT FINANCE: The board has approved raising up to 60 bln rupees through the issue of nonconvertible debentures in one or more tranches.

* NTPC: The company and POWER GRID CORP OF INDIA are largely insulated from the adverse impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

* OBEROI REALTY: Invesco Global Small and Mid Cap Growth fund bought 5 mln shares or 1.3% stake in the company at 430.38 rupees apiece through a bulk deal on BSE.

* OIL & NATURAL GAS CORP: Has begun gas production from its most promising block in the Krishna Godavari basin in the Bay of Bengal, and plans to ramp up production in the coming weeks.

* PNB HOUSING FINANCE: Is eyeing technology investments to boost business, even as other companies scale back technology spends amid an ongoing slowdown made worse by the conronavirus pandemic.

* RAMKRISHNA FORGINGS: Promoter pledged 4.29% stake in the company on Thursday.

* RBL BANK: To pay interim dividend of 1.50 rupees per share.

* RELIANCE NAVAL AND ENGINEERING: Has received a termination and evacuation notice from GUJARAT PIPAVAV PORT for termination of sub-concession agreement executed for land parcels owned by Gujarat Maritime Board and sub leased by GUJARAT PIPAVAV PORT to the company for shipbuilding.

* SHOPPERS STOP: Promoter Palm Shelters Estate Development LLP have sold 1.5 mln shares or 1.7% stake in the company at 277 rupees apiece through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

* STATE BANK OF INDIA: On Monday entered into a pact to acquire 6.83% stake in Zero Mass.

* TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS: Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group sold 2.32 mln shares or 2.01% stake in the company on Mar 13.

* TATA STEEL: Subsidiary TS Alloys on Tuesday won mining rights for the 95.81-mln-tn Sukinda
chromite deposit for 50 years, committing to pay Odisha 93.75% of the average sale price set by the Indian Bureau of Mines.

* UNITED BREWERIES: The board has appointed Rishi Pardal as chief executive officer and managing director effective Aug 1 to take over from current MD and CEO Shekhar Ramamurthy, who retires on Jul 31.

* UPL: Blackrock Global Funds India Fund bought 500,000 shares or 0.07% stake in the company at 371 rupees apiece through a block deal on BSE.

* VODAFONE IDEA: Promoters of the company--UK's Vodafone Group and Aditya Birla Group--may infuse around $1.5 bln (about 110.60 bln rupees) into the company if the government cuts the carrier's adjusted gross revenue dues based on self-assessment, and allows repayment over several years.

* WIPRO: The company has implemented its core banking solution for Kaveri Grameena Bank as part of the latter's merger with Pragathi Krishna Gramin Bank.
-Is unlikely to witness any major impact of the coronavirus pandemic in its March quarter
performance.

* YES BANK: The bank's board will focus on building a granular deposit franchise and move away from reliance on high-cost bulk deposits, said Prashant Kumar, the Reserve Bank of India-appointed administrator for the bank.
-The arrest of the bank's co-founder Rana Kapoor will have no impact on the private lender as it is
not facing a penalty or any other action.
