Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Monday, tracking bullish cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and positive trend across global peers. Markets across Asia were trading mostly higher, led by Japan’s Nikkei 225 as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's ruling coalition secured a two-thirds "super majority" at Sunday's election, Reuters said. On Friday, Wall Street ended higher after the US Senate passed a budget measure which will enables Republicans to pass a tax bill in the Senate. Back home, bullish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for October delivery, which were trading at 10,186.50, up by 19.00 points.
