Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Wednesday, tracking bullish cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and firm cues from global peers. Markets across Asia were trading mixed as the Australian dollar fall on soft inflation, while caution prevailed in the market ahead of the announcement of China's new leadership line-up. The caution also prevailed in the market as traders awaited the European Central Bank's policy meeting on Thursday, where the central bank may announce plan to taper its quantitative easing program. In the overnight trade, Wall Street ended higher following strong earnings report and outlook from companies including 3M and Caterpillar. Back home, bullish trend in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for October delivery, which were trading at 10,322.00, up by 98.50 points.
