Pre session: Sensex Nifty likely to open higher; Lok Sabha 2019 exit poll results in focus

Indian equity indices are expected to open higher on Monday taking cues from the Exit poll results announced yesterday, which showed return of the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janta Party and positive trend seen in other Asian markets. Stocks in Asia were mostly higher on Monday amid rising tensions between the U.S. and China. Back home, bullish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for May delivery, which were trading at 11,709.00, up by 274.50 points.
