Pre-Session: Domestic bourses likely to open in green; Assembly election results eyed

Indian benchmarks are expeted to start the day on a positive note on Thursday. Corporate earnings, Assembly election results for Maharashtra and Haryana, and global cues would guide investors' sentiment today. All exit poll data has predicted a return of Bharatiya Janata Party-led governments in Maharashtra and Haryana which may be seen positively by market participants. Counting of votes begins at 8 AM. Moreover, investors will continue to track India Inc's results. ITC, Maruti Suzuki India, Bandhan Bank, and IndiGo are among the 87 companies scheduled to report their Q2FY20 earnings today. On Wednesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 39058.83 up by 94.99 points or by 0.24 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11604.1 up by 15.75 points.
