* AUTOMOBILE: Ford Motor Co is in early discussions with at least one global automobile company to sell one of its twin factories in India.
* COMMODITY: India doesn't favour lowering the duty on imports of refined bleached and deodorised palmolein from Indonesia, as such a move may hurt domestic trade and oilseed growers.
* ECONOMY: The government is considering a fund that will provide guarantees for those who won't
otherwise be eligible for a housing loan, allowing them to borrow funds to acquire a home.
* OIL AND GAS: The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries trimmed its forecast for growth in global crude oil demand in 2019 by 80,000 barrels per day to 1.02 mln bpd due to a slower economic growth.
* TELECOMMUNICATION: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has extended the deadline to
submit comments on the draft telecommunication (broadcasting and cable) services interconnection
(amendment) regulation by one week till Monday.
