* ADITYA BIRLA CAPITAL: US private equity group Advent is in advanced negotiations with Kumar
Mangalam Birla to invest 12-13 bln rupees in the company for a 6-7% stake.
* AU SMALL FINANCE BANK: The bank has redeemed non-convertible debentures worth 500 mln
rupees issued to SBI Mutual Fund on May 31, 2016.
* BAJAJ AUTO: Does not intend to resort to discounts on its motorcycles to improve sales amid a slowdown in demand in the country's auto sector.
* BHARTI AIRTEL: Has launched a converged platform called 'Airtel Xstream', which features a host of entertainment services and devices.
* BOMBAY BURMAH TRADING CORP: The BOMBAY DYEING AND MANUFACTURING CO,
promoter of the company, has sold 1.79 mln shares or 2.56% stake in the company at 900.95 rupees apiece through a bulk deal on the BSE.
* CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA: The bank has launched repo-linked interest rates on home and vehicle loan products from Sunday.
* COX & KINGS: Smallcap World Fund Inc sold 1.7 mln shares or 0.98% stake in the company at 3.99 rupees per share through a bulk deal on the BSE.
* EDELWEISS FINANCIAL SERVICES: Global infrastructure investment fund I Squared Capital, the
National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, Singapore-based infrastructure investment platform Cube Highways and the company have shown interest in buying road assets worth about 200 bln rupees from the Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services group.
* EXCEL INDUSTRIES: The company will complete acquisition of the chemical manufacturing unit
of NetMatrix Crop Care by Sep 30. Earlier, the buyout was to be completed on Aug 31.
* FUTURE MARKET NETWORKS: The company and ESR India Investments Holdings will together invest 3 bln rupees to develop two industrial and warehousing parks in north and central India.
* FUTURE SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS: Has chalked out a capital expenditure of 10 bln rupees to ramp up its capacity to improve its third-party logistics services to existing and new clients.
* GUJARAT ALKALIES & CHEMICALS: Board will meet on Sep 27 to consider stock split.
* HOUSING DEVELOPMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE: The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal has granted interim stay on the corporate insolvency case filed against the company by BANK OF INDIA, and has given the lender 10 days time to file its response.
* INDIABULLS HOUSING FINANCE: Has put a prime two-storey bungalow property in south Mumbai's plush Cuffe Parade locality on the block to recover its dues from owner Phulchand Exports.
* INDIAN HOTELS CO: Is in talks with other Tata Group entities, including TATA POWER CO, to convert their guest houses to homestays under its newly created brand Ama Trails and Stays. The target is to reach 100 homestay properties.
* KIOCL: Will invest up to 35 bln rupees in next 2-3 years.
* KOHINOOR FOODS: PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, in a letter on Tuesday, declared the default in
repayment of the loan taken by the company as 'wilful'.
* MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM: Bharat Sanchar Nigam and the company have been given a goahead for the administrative allotment of fourth generation spectrum worth 200 bln rupees to the companies.
* MERCATOR: The company' dredger Tridevi Prem, anchored within the jurisdiction of New Mangalore Port Trust, sank on Monday after developing a leak at its pump room.
* MULTI COMMODITY EXCHANGE OF INDIA: Denied any failure of delivery of cotton on account of issues in the quality.
* OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORP: Four people lost their lives in a fire early on Tuesday at the company's oil and gas processing unit at Uran in Navi Mumbai.
* PETRONET LNG: Will take a 26% stake in a planned 1 mln tn capacity terminal for import and regasification of the super cooled fuel. This terminal will be helmed by BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP at Krishnapatnam port in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district.
* POWER FINANCE CORP: Planning to raise at least 5 bln rupees via bonds maturing in 15 years, and has invited bids for the same on Thursday.
* PRAJ INDUSTRIES: Will tie-up with Louisiana-based Lasuca Sugar and Florida-based Omega Energy USA to design and develop cellulosic ethanol bio-refinery.
* RUPA & CO: Incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary Rupa Bangladesh for manufacturing hosiery and related goods.
* TATA COMMUNICATIONS: Czech Republic-based Neeco Global ICT Services has entered into an
agreement with the telecom company to enhance digital offerings for enterprises in Europe.
* TORRENT PHARMACEUTICALS: Torrent Gas, a part of the Torrent Pharma Group, is expanding its city gas distribution business by acquiring three companies.
* VARUN BEVERAGES: The company's qualified institutional placement opened today and the floor price has been set at 644.08 rupees per share.
* VST TILLERS TRACTORS: The company's tractor sales were at 813 units in August, up 57.3% on
year. Sales in Apr-Aug were up a marginal 0.2% at 3,217 units.
