* AUTOMOBILE: Energy Efficiency Services, under the Ministry of Power, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with South Delhi Municipal Corp, to establish 75 charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

* CEMENT: JSW Cement plans to raise its production capacity to 25 mln tn by 2023, for which it plans to spend 28.75 bln rupees. The company plans to reach a capacity of 20 mln tn by 2021 and only then go for a public issue, Parth Jindal, managing director, said.

* ECONOMY: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said she has not ruled out more measures to revive the economy. Sitharaman has blamed the lag effect of twin balance sheet problem of 2014-15 for the slowdown in the GDP growth in the past two years.

* ENERGY: The Asian Development Bank has approved a loan of $250 mln as part of an assistance
package to Energy Efficiency Services to expand energy efficiency investments in India.

* INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: The government is preparing a national-level framework to use
blockchain technology, Minister of State for Electronics and IT Sanjay Dhotre said in the Lok Sabha.

* REGULATORY: The Securities and Exchange Board of India has issued guidelines for the preferential issue and institutional placement of units by listed real estate investment trusts and infrastructure investment trusts.

* TELECOMMUNICATION: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has floated a consultation paper seeking views on increasing transparency in tariff offerings by telecom service providers to consumers, particularly the contours of publishing the tariffs on various public portals.
Fifth generation mobile services are likely to comprise 11% of all mobile subscriptions in India by 2025, according to telecom equipment maker Ericsson. 5G is expected to be operational in India by 2022. The spectrum proposed for upcoming auction is enough to start fifth generation services in the country, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
