* ADANI PORTS AND SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE: Subsidiary Adani Logistics will buy 40.25% stake in SNOWMAN LOGISTICS from promoter GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS for 2.96 bln rupees.

* ABG SHIPYARD: Securities and Exchange Board of India has imposed a fine of 800,000 on three nonindependent directors of ABG Shipyard for misleading the firm's stakeholders by approving false financial statements.

* AVANTEL: Has received a 59.5-mln-rupee order from BHARAT ELECTRONICS for the supply of
satellite communication equipment.

* BEML: The company signed a memorandum of understanding with IRCON INTERNATIONAL LTD to explore opportunities in the overseas market by synergising each other's strengths for large infrastructure projects in the transportation sector.

* BHARTI AIRTEL: Has almost doubled its minimum recharge validity plan to 45 rupees.

* CADILA HEALTHCARE: Will continue to focus on its core healthcare business, including
pharmaceuticals and wellness, and is not looking to sell any part of the company, a senior official said.

* CONFIDENCE PETROLEUM INDIA: Board to meet on Jan 4 to mull setting up petrol pumps and
alternate fuel facilities at its liquefied petroleum gas dispensing stations following a government notification asking for the same from non-oil companies having net worth of 2.5 bln rupees.

* DEWAN HOUSING FINANCE CORP: The Enforcement Directorate has begun probing the
alleged money laundering of the investments of Uttar Pradesh Power Corp Ltd employees' provident fund.
- The Reserve Bank of India-appointed administrator of the company has called for a meeting of its
creditors for the first time today after the mortgage lender was admitted for insolvency proceedings.

* ESSEL PROPACK: Wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Arista Tubes, UK, was voluntarily dissolved on Tuesday.

* FEDERAL BANK: The Reserve Bank of India has approved re-appointment of Ashutosh Khajuria as the executive director of Federal Bank from Jan 28 till Mar 31, 2021.

* GUJARAT NARMADA VALLEY FERTILIZERS & CHEMICALS: Has temporarily suspended
production of toluene di-isocyanate at its TDI-II plant at Dahej from Friday till Jan 15 due to the prevailing challenging external environment and market conditions.

* HG INFRA ENGINEERING: The company has bagged a 5.22-bln-rupee contract for construction of a bypass in Rewari, Haryana.

* HINDUSTAN UNILEVER: Company will split the role of current Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Mehta, who will retain the second post.

* HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORP: Has raised 25.5 bln rupees through bonds maturing in three years.

* IIFL WEALTH MANAGEMENT: Wholly-owned subsidiary IIFL Wealth Advisors has successfully merged with the company.

* ITD CEMENTATION INDIA: Has received its first overseas maritime order worth $80 mln in Myanmar.

* JINDAL WORLDWIDE: The company has sold stake worth 6.9 mln rupees in wholly-owned subsidiary Niharika Threads Pvt Ltd to Amitara Industries.

* JSW STEEL: Wholly-owned subsidiary JSW Steel (Netherlands) BV has entered into an agreement to sell a 39% stake in Georgia-based joint venture Geo Steel LLC to partner Georgian Steel Group Holdings Ltd for $23.08 mln.

* MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM: A seven-member Group of Ministers has been constituted to fast-track and oversee the implementation of the 690-bln-rupee revival plan for Bharat Sanchar Nigam and the company.

* NCC: Board has approved the merger of its two wholly-owned subsidiaries--Aster Rail and Vaidehi Avenues--with the company.

* NHPC: Commercial operations at the company's unit 2 of Bairasiul power station, Himachal Pradesh, commenced on Sunday.

* NMDC: Company said production from its Donimalai mine in Karnataka will resume soon as discussions at the higher level were underway.

* OIL & NATURAL GAS CORP: Has extended until Jan 3 a deadline to accept bids from private players interested in operating its 64 small producing fields.

* PANACEA BIOTEC: Expects its hexavalent EasySix vaccine, containing the safer inactivated polio virus strains, to cater to a $1-bln market annually at its peak, Joint Managing Director Rajesh Jain said.

* PIRAMAL ENTERPRISES: Board OKs raising 27.5 bln rupees via NCDs.

* PSP PROJECTS: The company has emerged as the lowest bidder for development and beautification of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh with bid value of 3.39 bln rupees, excluding taxes.

* RATTANINDIA POWER: Board has approved allotment of securities to lenders and one promoter as part of the resolution plan to convert the company's debt.

* RELIANCE CAPITAL: Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has restored co's 100%
shareholding in insurance arm Reliance General Insurance Co. The regulator said stake pledge of arm is in violation of law.

* RELIANCE INFRASTRUCTURE: Company has received 940 mln rupees from the Goa government against an arbitration award of 3.5 bln rupees after a Goa state utility delayed payments for power supplied from the company's 48-MW plant in Sancoale.

* RITES: The company will pay interim dividend of 6 rupees per share. Record date for the same will be Jan 10.

* S CHAND AND CO: Board has approved corporate guarantee in favour of INDIAN BANK against a 120- mln-rupee term loan proposed to be taken by wholly-owned subsidiary Vikas Publishing House.

* SBI LIFE INSURANCE: GMJ & Co has resigned as statutory auditor of the company as Sanjeev
Maheshwari, one of its senior partners, has been nominated by the government as a non-official director on the board of the parent State Bank of India.

* SHRIRAM TRANSPORT FINANCE CO: Board has updated its existing global medium term note
programme to $3 bln from $2 bln.

* SINTEX PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY: Vistra ITCL (India) sold 24.56 mln shares or 3.89% stake in the company on Tuesday and Thursday through the open market. Also, Vistra ITCL (India) invoked pledge on 9.75 mln shares or 1.55% stake in the company on Thursday.

* SRF LTD: The company has paid 237.3-mln-rupee stamp duty, along with a penalty of 50.9 mln rupees, demanded by collector of stamps, Bhind, Madhya Pradesh.

* STATE BANK OF INDIA: Announced introduction of a one-time-password based system for
withdrawals above 10,000 rupees across its automated teller machines.

* STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA: The government has started the process to select the next chairman of the company. A.K. Chaudhary, the current chairman, is scheduled to retire in December 2020.

* SUN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES: The company has received US Food and Drug
Administration approval for its drug Tobramycin.
- The Ahmedabad bench of the National Company Law Tribunal has rejected company's petition for
proposed scheme of arrangement between Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and Sun Pharma (Netherlands) B.V. and Sun Pharmaceutical Holdings USA Inc. and their respective members.

* Sundaram Clayton: The company will shut its major plants from Saturday to Tuesday, due to a slowdown across sectors.

* TATA GLOBAL BEVERAGES: The company and its partner PepsiCo India Holdings have agreed to revise the terms of the joint venture agreement such that the date for reviewing various options for the business of the joint venture--NourishCo Beverages--be extended to Jun 30 from Dec 31.

* TATA MOTORS: Company is in pact with Prakriti E-Mobility to deploy 500 Tigor electric vehicles in the national capital.

* UCO BANK: The government has approved investment of 21.42 bln rupees in the bank via preferential allotment of shares.

* UPL: Has incorporated AFS AgTech as a wholly-owned subsidiary effective Friday.
