Pre Session : Sensex, Nifty seen opening lower on weak global cues; FOMC Meet in focus

Indian equities may open lower on Tuesday, tracking bearish trends in SGX Nifty Index Futures and weak cues from global peers. Overseas, the Asian stocks were trading lower, following an overnight sell-off on Wall Street. Investors are keeping a close watch on a major speech by Chinese President Xi Jinping as China prepared on Tuesday to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its economic reforms and opening up. On the other side, Oil prices extended losses on signs of oversupply in the United States and as investor sentiment remained under pressure from concern over global economic growth and fuel demand. Back home, bearish trends in the SGX Nifty Index Futures for December delivery, which were trading at 10,877.50, down by 36 points
