* ADANI PORTS AND SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE: Has concluded import and delivery of fifty US-made GE locomotives to Indian Railways.
* ALLAHABAD BANK: Is expecting 6-8 bln rupees from divestment before March 31.
* BANK OF BARODA: Shareholders will meet next month to consider issuing up to 100 mln new shares under Employee Share Purchase Scheme.
* BHARTI AIRTEL: Will lose 50-70 mln customers as it ends its 'lifetime free incoming' plan and asks customers to maintain a minimum balance of 35 rupees.
* COAL INDIA: With coal demand from the power sector exceeding the supply in 2018, the government is hopeful of a higher output in the new year from already-allocated mines, and plans to further allot 10 mines to the company in 2019.
* ERA INFRA ENGINEERING: Lenders, led by STATE BANK OF INDIA, have invited bids to replace a special purpose vehicle promoted by the company and open joint stock company Sibmost as the concessionaire of a project involving four-laning of a 151-km stretch along NH-24 between Bareilly and Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, according to a bid document.
* HDFC BANK: Raised 60 bln rupees through the issue of infrastructure bonds maturing in 10 years at a coupon rate of 8.44%.
* ICICI BANK: Has likely set a coupon rate of 9.90% on its Basel-III compliant tier-I bonds.
* IL&FS TRANSPORTATION NETWORKS: The National Company Law Tribunal has asked the income tax department, the Securities and Exchange Board of India and other statutory/regulatory bodies to file affidavits on Jan 1, after the ministry of corporate affairs applied to the court seeking to reopen the financial statements of its parent firm, IL&FS.
* INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK: Board will meet on Saturday to decide the opening and closing date, and the price for issue of shares to bank employees.
* JSW STEEL: Plans to seek a clarification from the National Company Law Tribunal pertaining to its order approving the resolution plan for VARDHMAN INDUSTRIES, as certain directions in the order could modify the resolution plan submitted by the company.
* NTPC: Investment approval has been granted for Bilhaur Solar PV Project of 140 MW capacity and Auraiya Solar PV Project of 20 MW capacity.
* POWER FINANCE CORP: The government has sold 4.16% or 109.81 mln equity shares in the company through Central Public Sector Enterprises-Exchange Traded Fund.
* SBI LIFE INSURANCE CO: A consortium of US private equity firm Carlyle Group and Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC is set to buy a 10% strategic stake in the company from BNP Paribas Cardif, as the French insurer looks to trim its holding in the 17-year-old joint venture with STATE BANK OF INDIA to meet regulatory terms for a public float.
* SUN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES: US federal district court has prohibited Biofrontera from using the company's wholly-owned subsidiary DUSA Pharmaceuticals' confidential and proprietary trade secret information.
* TITAGARH WAGONS: Plans an offer-for sale of 1.54 mln shares or 5.64% stake of its subsidiary
